On April 18th, Manchester Thunder and Yorkshire Jets are set to make sporting history when they face-off in a season-ending finale at Manchester Arena.
The two teams will clash at Manchester Netball Live which is aiming to break the current record of 6,000 fans for the highest attended domestic netball match ever held in the UK. Following Thunder’s previous triumphs over Yorkshire Jets, they head into the fixture as heavy favourites but Jets are an improving team and are set to give Thunder a challenge. Thunder and England Netball captain, Sara Bayman, says the game will be tough competition; “this game is going to be all about rivalry”, said Bayman. “It’s us against Jets, the North West against Yorkshire, and the North against the South when it comes to breaking the attendance record. We want fans of both teams, and anyone across the region that just loves sport, to be there cheering and helping us make history.” Tickets to this glittering fixture are selling fast!
